Trommel Bakehouse is a cottage bakery located in the Washington Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado.
Our German speaking friends will know that “Trommel” means Drum, my last name. My husband and I both have German roots. From these roots stem recipes and traditions that have brought our families together. Trommel Bakehouse is a place for family, friends and creativity.
Under the State of Colorado Cottage Foods Act, our baked goods are produced in our home kitchen that is not subject to state licensure or inspections and that may also process common food allergens such as tree nuts, eggs and wheat. All our sales and deliveries are limited to the state of Colorado. Currently orders are available for pickup or local delivery.

Meet Amy
Woman. Wife. Mother. Dietitian. Baker.
Whatever has been happening in my everchanging life, baking has been the constant. It is my stress reliever, my love language, and my happy place. You can use any of the words above to describe me, but when someone asks me what I do, I tell them I am a dietitian, but the real answer is a baker at heart. I am a registered dietitian who has worked in public health, hospital inpatient and outpatient settings for over 10 years. Additionally, my life was turned upside down when I started on the motherhood adventure 4 years ago. Throughout these endeavors, baking has kept me sane, happy, and creative. After years and years of pouring my heart into gift boxes of cookies to share with family and friends, I’ve decided to add all of you to that list of “family and friends.” I can’t wait to share this piece of my heart with you.
